August 27, 2013

Hundreds of Deer Park students and parents took in the festivities at We Heart Deer Park on Monday afternoon at Arcadia Elementary School.

Hundreds of Deer Park students and parents flocked to Arcadia Elementary School on Monday for the second annual We Heart Deer Park celebration.
Sponsored by several area churches, the celebration featured several community organization informational booths, free school supplies and various forms of games and musical entertainment. The GreenHouse Community Center passed out free food boxes while a pair of barbers offered free haircuts to students.
The event also allowed students to all visit their classrooms before the start of school on Aug. 28.
