Mary Walker School District officials received a clean bill of health from a pair of audits conducted by the state’s Auditor’s Office. The office found no errors in accountability and federal program audits.
The accountability audit, for the period between Sept. 1, 2004 and Aug. 31, 2007, looked at various aspects of district operations, including cash receipting for the Associated Student Body and food services programs, enrollment and transportation reporting, contracts, presentation of financial statements, expenditures and expenses and long-term debt. The federal audit, for the period between Sept. 1, 2006 and Aug. 31, 2007, looked at the district’s Title I (Part A) program. |
