A memorial service will be 11 a.m. March 4 at Heritage Funeral Home, N508 Goverment Way, Spokane, for former Chattaroy resident Christine K. Knapp, 58, who died on Feb. 26 at her home.

Born Jan. 10, 1950, to Richard and Evelyn Lee in Los Angeles, the family moved to Chattaroy when she was two year old. She graduated from Mead High School in 1968 and married Amlen “Butch” Knapp later that year.

A former Avon saleswoman, she and her husband operated a construction company.

Mrs. Knapp, a member of the Jack and Jennys Square Dance Club, was an accomplished seamstress.

She is survived by her husband, Amlen, at the home; three children, Pricilla, Amlen and Loretta Knapp; three sisters, Eileen Wice, Linda Meyer and Debbie Rasmussen; and one granddaughter, Rachel Guidice.

Community Cremation Service, Spokane, will be in charge of arrangements.
