Donald R. Ford, 75
A funeral service was Jan. 10 at Cheney Funeral Chapel for Ford resident Donald R. Ford, 75, who died Jan. 6 in Spokane.

Born July 24, 1931 to Wesley and Violet (Roellich) Ford in Cheney, he graduated from Cheney High School in 1949 and later served in the Korean War.

He bought a truck and started Service Transport in Burbank Wash. In 1988, he bought a wheat farm in Ford.

Mr. Ford enjoyed flying, fishing and restoring old equipment.

He is survived by one daughter, Judie Johnson of Cheney; two sons, Donald Ford Jr. and Gary Ford, both of Burbank; two sisters, Gerene Boberg and Muriel Hanson, both of Cheney; and 10 grandchildren.

Burial followed the service at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
