Inez J. McKeehen, 84

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Deer Park Open Door Congregational Church, with the Chaplain Ron Baird officiating, for longtime Loon Lake resident Inez J. McKeehen, 84, who died Jan. 6  in Spokane.

Born March 8, 1922, to the late Archie and Juanita Swope in Davenport, she was a former member and longtime sustaining contributor to the Loon Lake Historical Society. She was also the secretary for the Loon Lake Cemetery Association for many years.

Mrs. McKeehen enjoyed playing the piano.

Her husband, Kenneth McKeehen, died in 1984. A daughter, Gloria, also predeceased her.

She is survived by one son, Monte McKeehen of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; four grandchildren, Bryan R. and Brett McKeehen, Christina Gage and Erica L. Collier; and three great-grandchildren, Clayton Zayala, and Bailey and Marlaena McKeehen.

Interment will follow the services at the Loon Lake Cemetery with Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, in charge of arrangements. A reception is planned at the Loon Lake  Historical Schoolhouse.

The family requests memorials be made to the Loon Lake Historical Society, P.O. Box 26, Loon Lake, WA 99148-0026
