Funeral services were Oct. 26 at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home, N1306 Monroe St., Spokane, for former Chattaroy resident Francis R. “Frank” Ford, 84, who died on Oct. 20 in Spokane.
Born Dec. 27, 1922 in Spokane to Louis and Julia Ford, he grew up in Chattaroy and attended Riverside High School. He later worked in construction in the Spokane Valley before serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Ford worked as a warehouseman for Jensen Byrd Dry Goods in Spokane and later as a warehouse foreman for a petroleum company, which required him to live in various parts of the United States. After his retirement, he returned to Spokane. He is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews. Interment followed the services at Riverside Memorial Park, Spokane. The family requests memorials be made to the Union Gospel Mission or Disabled American Veterans. |
