Riverside hikes sports participation fee |

|
It will cost Riverside High School athletes a little more to play during the upcoming school year. The Riverside School Board raised the ASB sports participation fee (commonly referred to as “pay to play”) from $20 to $30 for athletes who play only one sport. Athletes will have to pay an additional $30 to play a second sport. There is no charge to play a third sport.
The basic ASB card fee, required for all students who take part in extracurricular activities, including sports, will remain at $30. The increased funds from the increased sports participation fee will be used to help defray costs in the athletic department, mainly in the transportation area. |
