Deer Park’s senior meals program, beset by budget problems earlier this month, has returned to full-time lunch status.

The program, administered by the Spokane County Health District, had been trimmed to three days a week two months ago by budgetary constraints. Similar programs in Spokane had been cut back to twice a week.

With an influx of donations, the health district was able to return the Deer Park senior lunch program to full weekday status.
