Stevens County continues dog attack investigation

One of the dogs believed to be involved in a series of domestic animal attacks in southern Stevens County.

The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate several reports over the last few months involving the killing and injuring of domestic animals by a pack of dogs. The incidents appear to be centered near the Bittrich-Antler and Scotts Valley Road areas as well as the 6800-7200 block of State Highway 291 in Southern Stevens County.
To date, efforts to locate the dogs and their owners have been unsuccessful. Photographs were obtained of the dogs involved in the latest incident. The photos show dogs that are consistent with descriptions previously provided at other reported incidents.
The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in identifying the owner(s) of the animals in the photographs. Anyone having information regarding the location of these dogs and their owner(s), should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 509-684-2555 or 1-800-572-0947.
