Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Oct. 1 at the River Christian Church, N5201 Market, with the Rev. John Hickman officiating, for longtime area resident Steve Saywers, 60, who passed away on Sept. 16 in Spokane.
Born on May 2, 1951, in Sunnyside, Wash., he served in the Air Force and Army and earned several college degrees.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; two daughters, Starla (Chad) Despino and Shawna (Brett) Bryant; two sons, Ryan and Cory Saywers; his mother, Lyola Marie Saywers; his father, Robert Saywers; three brothers, Dennis, Mike and John Saywers; one sister, Joy Despino; and five grandchildren.
The family requests memorials can be made to an account in Mr. Saywer’s name at an INB Bank.
