Stags open GNL season at Pullman

October 3, 2013

Deer Park's Theron Taylor (7) and Nic Clough (3)

The Deer Park Stags will have to find a way to slow down the home-standing Pullman Greyhounds in their Great Northern League opener on Friday.
The Greyhounds, which opened their GNL season last week with a come-from-behind 29-26 win over Cheney, are averaging more than 31 points per game.
The only blemish on their 3-1 season is a 40-14 loss to Freeman in week two.
Pullman is led by quarterback Mason Petrino and wide receiver David Ungerer.
The Stags (1-3) are hoping to avoid a four-game losing streak, which would be the longest since the 2006 season.
