Spokane man killed in U.S. 395 accident

A 23-year-old Spokane man died Tuesday night after his car collided with a semi-trailer on U.S. Highway 395 near Deer Park.
Sean A. Dieringer Burns was northbound on the highway near Half Moon Road at around 9:30 p.m. when his 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo crossed the center line, according to the Washington State Patrol. The car struck a southbound 2012 Freightliner semi driven by Randall L. Degner, 55, of Colville. Both vehicles were totaled.
Burns died at the scene, WSP troopers reported. Degner was injured, but was not taken to the hospital,
