Robin Joel McCalister, 55, passed away on Sept. 7, 2011.
He was born on July 2, 1956, in Portland, Ore., to Kilbourn and Barbara McCalister. Robin, a 27-year resident of Stevens County, worked in the logging industry for many of those years.
He enjoyed music, karaoke, playing his guitar, and keeping in touch with friends on Facebook. He had a great love for his family, spending as much time as he could with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Robin is survived by his daughter, Brandi (Shawn) Erickson; sons Ryan McCalister (Jeanette Harris) and Garrett (Jessica) McCalister; grandchildren, Brittany Erickson, Brighton Erickson, Breanna Erickson, Brady Erickson, Bailey Erickson, Ryelee Cole, Dylen McCalister, Zayden McCalister and Pearl McCalister; his mother, Barbara McCalister, a brother, Jaime McCalister, and a sister, Nanette McCarty.
Robin was preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Sherry, and his father, Kilbourn McCalister.
Services for Mr. McCalister will be on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Springdale Grange Hall with a graveside service to follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Ford.
