A funeral services was held on April 12, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Stanwood, Wash., for Chattaroy resident Richard Orville Floe, who passed away on April 4.
Born on Jan. 5, 1938, in Everett, Wash., to Wilbur and Rose Floe, he lived most of his life in the Stanwood area until six years ago after retiring from 38 years of working as a sales manager at Concrete Nor'West he decided to move to Chattaroy where they wanted to live a quieter and simpler lifestyle.
He is survived by his best friend and soulmate, Jayne; six children, Annie, MaryJane, Steven, Andrew, Bill and David; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Gilbertson Funeral Home in Stanwood was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice or Darrington Horse Owners Association (DHOA), c/o Dick Floe, Coastal Bank, P.O. Box 90, Darrington, WA 98241.
