Phyllis L Fetcho, 83

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. on March 14 at the Peaceful Valley Church on Allen Road in Elk, with the Rev. Jim Trull officiating, for former Elk resident Phyllis L. Fetcho, 83, who passed away on March 3.
Born in 1928 in Colfax, she attended Colfax Grade School and graduated from Riverside High School in 1946. She worked briefly as a telephone operator.
A former president of the Elk Grade School PTA, she was a member of the Congregational Church and founder and member of the Elk Homemakers.
Mrs. Fetcho, who served many dinners at the Elk church, enjoyed gardening and collecting dolls.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Myron G. “Bud” Fetcho; three children, Michael (Gail) Fetcho, Craig (Shellie) Fetcho, both of Spokane, and Nickie (Ted) Caldwell of Elk; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Private interment will follow the service at Elk Cemetery No. 1 with Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, in charge of arrangements.
