September 21, 2011

Private family services will be held in Orland, Calif., at a future date for Patricia Ann Karle, 72, who passed away on Sept. 17 at her Deer Park home.
Born to Lloyd and Doris (Patrick) Watson on July 8, 1939, in Manteca, Calif., she met her best friend and the love of her life, Henry "Jerry" Karle, in high school. They were married on Nov. 27, 1957, in Carson City, Nev. They were together until Mr. Karle’s passing on Aug. 16, 2006.
Mrs. Karle went to truck driving school at 54 years old and received her commercial driver's license. She worked as her husband’s co-driver and partner. They retired and moved to Deer Park in 2005 with plans to hunt, fish, and enjoy the "golden years."
She was preceded by three brothers, Robert, Marion, and James and three sisters, Dorothy, Edna, and Christine. Her greatest loss was her youngest grandson, Darron Patrick Galvan, on Nov. 5, 2005.
She is survived by her children, Henry "Jerry" (Kathleen) Karle of Yakima, Jackie Kaps, Deer Park, Sondra (Carlos) Galvan of Orland, Calif., Rosie (Steve) Vance, Chico, Calif., and David (Valerie) Karle of Spokane Valley; and one sister, Rosalea Domingo of Manteca, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, was in charge of local arrangements.
