Pair arrested following Chattaroy stabbing

Spokane County Major Crimes detectives arrested a pair of men in connection with a stabbing outside a Chattaroy restaurant on Wednesday morning.
Dwayne Hackley, 42, and Brian Reinhart, 25, were arrested later in the day and charged with first-degree assault.
Spokane County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 4200 block of East Westwood Avenue on a possible stabbing call at 2:15 a.m. Deputies found a male subject with apparent stab wounds lying unconscious on the ground in the parking lot of the Prime Tyme Restaurant and Lounge. He was transported to a Spokane hospital in critical condition.
A short time later, the two adult males contacted 911 and said they had been attacked by the male who turned up unconscious in the parking lot. Both subjects were detained.
The Sheriff’s Department asks anyone who may have witnessed this altercation to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
