December 19, 2012

Spokane County Major Crimes detectives arrested a pair of men in connection with a stabbing outside a Chattaroy restaurant on Wednesday morning.
Dwayne Hackley, 42, and Brian Reinhart, 25, were arrested later in the day and charged with first-degree assault.
Spokane County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 4200 block of East Westwood Avenue on a possible stabbing call at 2:15 a.m. Deputies found a male subject with apparent stab wounds lying unconscious on the ground in the parking lot of the Prime Tyme Restaurant and Lounge. He was transported to a Spokane hospital in critical condition.
A short time later, the two adult males contacted 911 and said they had been attacked by the male who turned up unconscious in the parking lot. Both subjects were detained.
