Nanci J. De Nure, 73

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Deer Park United Methodist Church, E113 Second St., for Deer Park resident Nanci J. De Nure, 73, who passed away with her family by her side on Feb. 16, 2012.
Born in Rock Island, Ill., on July 20, 1938, she and her husband, David, moved to Deer Park in 1984 and have called it home ever since.
She belonged to TOPS, Catster, and Facebook.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, David A. De Nure Sr.; one son, David A. De Nure Jr.; two daughters, Dawn M. De Nure, and Robyn L. Maloney; one brother, David Porter; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will also be greatly missed by her four cats, especially her special needs cat named Roo.
