Mohr, Brazington named DPHS's top athletes

Three-sport Deer Park High School sports standouts Zach Mohr and Kimmie Brazington were named the winners of the Max Sanchez Award as the top athletes for the 2011-12 school year.
Mohr, who earned All-Great Northern League honors in football last fall. He was also a member of the basketball (he was an All-GNL player as a junior) and baseball teams, where he threw the first no-hitter at the school in more than a decade.
Brazington, an All-GNL volleyball player last fall, was also a member of the girls basketball team and track squad, where she qualified for the state Class 2A championships in the shot put.
