Mildred Louise Vinton of Deer Park died on Jan. 27, 2014, at the age of 90.
She was born on March 3, 1923, in Goldendale, Wash.
Mildred was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3067 Auxiliary.
She enjoyed doing her “fancy work,” which included knitting, crocheting, quilting, toile painting and hand embroidery.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Mary Colvin of Napavine, Wash.; a son, Guy Vinton (Elizabeth) of Bothell, Wash.; a daughter, Guyla Tongue (Glen) of Deer Park; a son, Bruce Vinton of Twisp, Wash.; and Jon Vinton (Shirley) of Mooresville, N.C. She has 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, and a grandson, Travis.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
