Aaron D. Miller, 24, pled not guilty on Feb. 28 to various charges stemming from his apparent three holdups of the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Deer Park this winter.
Miller, who is being held on $100,000 bond, faces first-degree robbery, second-degree robbery and attempted second-degree robbery charges.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Detectives believe Miller was the gunman who robbed the store of oxycodone on Dec. 5 after displaying a gun and placing a note on the counter demanding drugs.
Miller fled the scene on foot.
Police believe Miller robbed the pharmacy again on Dec. 30 with a note claiming he had a gun and demanding drugs. An employee chased Miller after the robbery attempt but lost him at a mobile home park on south Main Street.
Miller returned to the Medicine Shoppe on Feb. 21 seeking more drugs. He fled the scene to a home at south Fir Avenue. A resident at the house called police after Miller explained to him why he was covered with pepper spray, according to court documents.
After his arrest, Miller reportedly confessed to sheriff's deputies that he'd robbed the pharmacy twice before.
