Mary H. Engle, 98

Mary Helena Engle, age 98, a long-time resident of Deer Park, passed away on Dec. 23, 2013, in Spokane. She was born in Old Kettle Falls Wash., on Oct. 31, 1915.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl, of 63 years.
She was the loving mother of Earl L Engle, Danny G Engle, Christina Engle, Tamara Wetherell, Penelope Coffey, Deborah Engle and James Batson Engle; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and five stepgrandchildren.
Mrs. Engle was a charter member of the Deer Park Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She worked many years at Sacred Heart Medical Center and for many years in residential real estate sales.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, at the Deer Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, S.809 Colville Ave., directed by the Lauer Funeral Home of Deer Park, with Pastor Rick McCombs officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in the Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery, Spokane.
A reception for relatives and friends will follow the funeral services at the church’s social hall prior to the interment. All are cordially invited.
