Lee Evans, 68

September 20, 2011

William “Lee” Evans, 68, entered into rest on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.
He was born on July 10, 1943, to Rena and Roy LaVerne Evans in Eureka, Mont. He worked at Kaiser-Mead for 38 years.
When the kids were younger, we did a lot of camping on the Colville Reservation. As the kids got older, they became bowlers so we went to many tournaments in Seattle, Spokane, Tri-Cities or wherever. Lee would get the camper ready and away we went.
He bowled a 299 game in the Adult-Youth League.
He loved kids and they loved him.
Lee was a lifetime member of Deer Park Eagles Aerie No. 3564.
I (his wife, Ione) loved to go to Worley, Idaho, so he finally gave in and joined me. He loved it most when we played one machine together.
Lee will be missed and was loved by his wife, Ione; son, Roy LaVerne; grandsons, Cody William Evans and Adam Walker; daughter, Mary Lee McBeth and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Jamie Lee and Jacob Allen McBeth; his mother, Rena Newman of Deer Park; and sister, Betty Morris of Lakewood, Wash.
He followed the death of sister Myrtle Falkner and Roy Sam Evans.
A memorial dinner will be held at the Deer Park Eagles Lodge, W12 South Ave., at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.
Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, was in charge of arrangements.
