Larry E. Morrill, 77

Larry Elwood Morrill, 77, as born on Nov. 7, 1935, in Milan, Wash., to Eldon B. and Roberta (Coons) Morrill.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eldon B., 18 months old.
He is survived by his brother, Dana (Ruth) and many nephews, nieces and cousins in the community.
Larry never married. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle man who loved children. He also never met a dog he didn't like.
He spent his school years in Colville and Newport. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and many local sawmills and farms in the area.
He loved a good western movie and could tell you "off the top of his head" who acted in most of the old 1940s through 1960s films.
Larry died on Feb. 16, 2013, in Deer Park from cancer. There will a graveside service at the Chattaroy Cemetery on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m.
Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, will be in charge of arrangements.
