Kenneth J. Minden, 61

March 11, 2014

Ken Minden of Deer Park passed away at home after a four-year long battle with metastic colon cancer at the age of 61.
He was a loving husband for 43 years to Candy Minden; wonderful father to Danette (John) Brewster of Newport News, Va., and Darin Minden of Deer Park; a special grandfather to Kevin, Rebecca and Alyssa Minden and Kylee Brewster; a brother to Virgil (Carol) Minden of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Ed (Gail) Minden of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; a son of Saron Minden (deceased) and Gladys Crumley; and a son-in-law to Gail (Edna - deceased) Marlow of Nine Mile Falls.
Ken was born at Moses Lake, Wash., where he was raised on a dairy farm. He was a kind and gentle family man who enjoyed good old-fashioned country living. He owned and operated Minden Well Drilling for 35 years and was proud of his honesty and integrity.
Over the years, Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snow and water skiing, scuba diving and most of all flying. He will be missed!
