Kay Oiland, 78

Kay Oiland, 78 years of life, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 18, 2014, at her Deer Park home.
Kay was born on March 13, 1936, in Havre, Mont., to Tom and Lucy Wells. She was the second child and only sister to her three brothers.
Raised in Polson, Mont., Kay graduated from Polson High School in 1954. She later attended Kinman Business School in Spokane.
After graduating from Kinman, Kay began working at Jenson Byrd where she met her future husband, Dean. They were married on Aug. 24, 1956, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and settled in Spokane.
In 1962, they moved to Wild Rose Prairie and began dairying.
Mrs. Oiland was an active member of the First Baptist Church and the church's social committee and TOPS No. 485 in Deer Park, and she loved to play bunco and pinochle.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Dean; four children, Kevin, Tom (Juanita), Inger (Tom) Murphy and Sueann (Mike) Davis; 11 grandchildren, Kevin, Josh, Jamie (Travis), T.J., Mitch, Joey, Trevor, Chris (Aubrey), Raeann (Jake), Chad and Nick; and five great-grandchildren, Zach, Micah, Alexis, Caden and Isla. Kay is also survived by two brothers, Bert (Judy) Wells and Don (Darlene) Wells.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tom Wells.
Funeral services celebrating Kay’s life were Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Deer Park with the Rev. David Stapp officiating. There was a dinner immediately after the service at the church, followed by a graveside service at the Wild Rose Prairie Cemetery.
Lauer Funeral Home in Deer Park, will in charge of arrangements.
