Joyce M. Larson, 84

Joyce M. Larson, age 84, peacefully went to be with our Lord on Oct. 25, 2013. She was the loving devoted wife to Larry and mother to Michael, who preceded her in 1992.
Survived by one sister. LouAnne Dennison of Nooksak, Wash.; a daughter, Michelle Gemmill (Gregg Gemmill) of Deer Lake; four grandchildren, Brian Larson of Bayview Idaho, Rachel and Toby Jeffrey of Vancouver Wash., Laura Gemmill of Cheney, and Jason Gemmill of Deer Park; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was born in Anacortes Wash., on Jan. 7, 1929, to Laura E. and James T Gearon. She spent her childhood in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Always a caregiver and comforter to others, volunteered at the hospital in Glendive Mont., CNA (NAC) in Spokane, caregiver for rehabilitating grandson, cheerleader for grandchildrens’ sporting events, always putting others first. Now she is free of her physical prison.
Memorials may be made to Providence St Joseph’s Hospital pastoral care in Chewelah.
A memorial service will be held at Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital long-term care chapel at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.
