Jean Gellner, 73

A funeral service was Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Riplinger Funeral Home, N4305 Division, for longtime Spokane area resident Jean (Cobane) (Rouleau) Gellner, 73, who passed away on Jan. 21 in Spokane.
Born on Jan. 14, 1941, in Ellensburg, she graduated from Connell High School in 1959 and later attended Kinman Business College.
Mrs. Gellner moved in the Spokane area in 1979 and was the first female manager for Met Life Insurance.
She was married to Al Rouleau from 1960-81. She later married Jon Gellner in 1982. Mr. Gellner passed away in 2007.
Mrs. Gellner, a member of the Spokane Yacht Club for 25 years, enjoyed world traveling, bingo, going to the casino and cats.
She is survived by her brother, Don (Sondra) Cobane of Everett, Wash.; one son, Tom (Julie) Rouleau of Granger, Wash.; five daughters, Theresa (Rodney) Douvia of Deer Park, Eileen Rouleau of Spokane, Desiree (Monty) Madsen of Spokane and Debbie (Mike) Lieb of Spokane; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A reception followed the service at the Riverview Community Building, E2117 Crescent, Spokane.
