GreenHouse's stolen ambulance recovered

March 28, 2014

The GreenHouse Community Center, which had its main transportation rig stolen last week, recovered the converted 1996 ambulance on Thursday.
The vehicle was found on the outskirts of Coulee City, Wash., after a passing motorist
spotted it in a roadside field. The ambulance was missing the large vinyl GreenHouse logos. Instead, the sides of the vehicle had been spray painted with graffiti.
The inside of the ambulance was also trashed with empty containers and food items also stolen from the GreenHouse.0
GreenHouse Operations Manager Lonnie Bates, who had to travel almost 120 miles to pick up the vehicle, needed to recharge the ambulance batteries before heading back to Deer Park.
