Evelyn I Amos, 82

A memorial service was Feb. 4 at the First Baptist Church of Deer Park for longtime area resident Evelyn Irene (Ellis) Amos, 82, who passed away on Jan. 29, 2013, in Spokane.
Born on Feb. 17, 1930, in Springdale, she graduated from Springdale High School in 1947 and moved to Deer Park in 1955. She worked as a billing clerk at Deer Park Hospital.
She married Leo Coyle in 1949. The couple divorced in 1971. She later married Glen Amos and later divorced.
Mrs. Amos was a member of Deer Park Hospital Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, embroidering and traveling.
A sister, Norma Lesher, passed away in 2000.
She is survived by one daughter, Eleanor Irene (Jerry) Scott of Bowie, Texas; three sons, Michael L. (Sue) Coyle of Winnemucca, Nevada, Jim (Dorothy) Coyle of Connell, Wash., and Randy Coyle of Kennewick, Wash.; a brother-in-law, Dick Lesher; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-granddchildren.
