Driver faces DUI charges after U.S. 395 accident

A portion of U.S. Highway 395 near Owens Road was closed for little more than an hour early Wednesday morning following a one-car rollover.
When emergency crews arrived at around 3 a.m., they found the driver outside the vehicle while a female passenger was trapped inside.
Spokane County Fire District No. 4 firefighters were able to free the woman. She was transported to a Spokane hospital with non-threatening injuries.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The names of the driver and passenger were not immediately released.
