DP's Farnam named new Newport football coach

June 15, 2012

Deer Park assistant football coach Zac Farnam has left the program to take the head varsity job at Newport High School.
Farnam, a 2002 DPHS graduate, had been part of Stag head coach Keith Stamps’ staff for the past six years.
He takes over a Grizzly program that went 7-3 last season.
Farnam’s departure will also leave holes in the Stags’ boys basketball and baseball teams, as he served as an assistant coach with both programs.
