DPHS's Eskue earns All-GNL baseball berth

Deer Park cathcher Aaron Eskue was a steady influence for the Stags behind the plate this spring.

Deer Park’s Aaron Eskue was the Stags’ lone representative on the All-Great Northern League baseball team this spring in voting by the conference coaches.
The senior catcher was named to the second team.
The GNL first team feature pitchers Ryan Wagner and Randy Fuller and infielder Josh Harbolt, all of Medical Lake; pitcher Nicky Scourey, catcher Peter Barner, first baseman Matt Peterson and infielder Jeremy Druffel, all of Pullman; infielder Brady Arnone, outfielder Nick Cundy and designated hitter Mickey Smith, all of Clarkston; outfielder Kyle Primm of East Valley and utility player Parker Franklin of Cheney.
Joining Eskue on the second team were pitcher Adam Paulson of Medical Lake; pitcher Layton Bush of Clarkston; pitcher Curt Peterson and infielders Brady Mooney and Brennan Ball and outfielder Dillon Cooper, all of Pullman; first baseman Knight Johnson and utility player J.T. Phelan, both of East Valley; infielder Derek Lane, outfielder Ryan Liberg and designated hitter Kyle Wagner, all of West Valley; and outfielder Bryce Crooks of Cheney.
Cameron Lowe of Cheney was chosen player of the year and Pullman’s Lance Lincoln was named coach of the year.
