DP superintendent to host school tour

November 8, 2011

Members of the Deer Park School District community are invited to visit schools throughout the school district from 8 a.m.-noon on Nov. 15 as part of the Superintendent's Community of Schools tour.
The guided bus tour will begin and end at the district office on north Main Street.
The school visits will give the public an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the facilities and observe students and staff members in their daily routines.
“Many people have been at school for athletic events, concerts, or plays, but not many have been here to see how we operate on a normal school day,” said Superintendent Dr. Becky Cooke.
At the completion of the tour, the public can ask additional questions to Cooke concerning the Deer Park School District. Refreshments will be served.
