May 21, 2013

Jon Swett met with the Deer Park community in a public forum setting on Thursday.

After three days of interviews and weekend of deliberations and negotiations the Deer Park School Board selected Jon Swett as the new school superintendent on Monday.
Swett, who oversees the high schools at Spokane School District 81, currently lives in the Riverside School District but his three children attend the Deer Park schools.
Swett, who replaced Becky Berg, will assume the superintendent post on July 1.
