Donald L. Boucher, 69

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. on Nov. 12 at St. Mary’s Presentation Catholic Church, E602 Sixth St., Deer Park, for Deer Park resident Donald L. Boucher, 69, who passed away on Sept. 5,while he was camping in the Blue Mountains.
Born on Jan. 14, 1942 in Oklee, Minn., to Irene (Hince) and Harvey Boucher, and was raised in Yakima since 1947.
Don retired with the rank of captain from the Air Force serving for 22 years, starting out at 18 years old as an airman first class before working his way through the officer training program to became a meteorologist. He was a resident of the Spokane/Deer Park area for more than 20 years.
Mr. Boucher was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper, and all around outdoorsman. He supported the GreenHouse food bank, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary Presentation Catholic Church in Deer Park.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores/Dolly (Onufry); and four children, Michele (Michael) Rapp, Derrick (Lisa) Boucher, Robert (Julie) Boucher, and Donald A. (Lisa Millbank) Boucher; one sister, Lori Boucher; five grandchildren: Lauren (Sean)Toenniges, Christopher York, Spencer Boucher, Alexandria Boucher and Harvey Boucher; and many extended family members.
