Donald E. Goodburn, 53

Donald Eugene Goodburn, 53, a resident and formerly of Ellensburg, Wash., and Garfield, Wash., passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Spokane.
He is the dear husband of Denise Goodburn and the son of Mrs. Eva Goodburn of Spokane Valley. Don’s sons are Dustin Bowman of Ellensburg, Jeremiah Jones of Spokane and James Schiff of Spokane and his daughters are Lacy Coulson of Chico, Calif., Desiree Bowman of Grangeville, Idaho, and Nichole Tresedder of Colorado Springs, Colo. Donald’s grandchildren are Jeb Schiff, Dillon Coulson, Jace Bowman, Amiee Bowman, Avery Tresedder, D’Ali Warrern and Elijah Jones. His sisters are Diane (Randy) Green of Chattaroy/Deer Park, Teresa McPherson of Spokane Valley and Karen (Philip) Kuntz of Veradale.
Donald was born in 1960 in Puyallup, Wash., served with the Army National Guard and worked as a commodity truck driver and as a farm laborer.
He loved the outdoors, good times with everyone, music of all kinds, slow dancing and rodeo.
A funeral service honoring Donald will be held at the Life Center — Foursquare Church at N1202 Government Way, Spokane, at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013, with Pastor Shawn Stone officiating.
Donald’s family suggests memorial contributions by made to the ALS Foundation.
Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, will be in charge of arrangements.
