Detectives developing a suspect in Medicine Shoppe robberies

January 27, 2012

Spokane County Sheriff’s detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying a male who possibly robbed The Medicine Shoppe pharmacy in Deer Park twice last month.
On Dec. 5, at approximately 4:40 p.m., a male robbed The Medicine Shoppe pharmacy at gunpoint. The suspect demanded oxycontin and displayed a silver pistol tucked in his waistband.
At approximately 4 p.m. on Dec. 30, the pharmacy was robbed again at gunpoint by a man demanding pain medication. During this incident, the suspect indicated he was armed with a gun, although no firearm was displayed.
After both robberies, descriptions provided by witnesses appear to be of the same or similar looking suspect. He is described as a white male in his early 20s, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 and thin. A sketch was created to aid with the identification of the possible suspect.
Anyone with information regarding either armed robbery or can help identify the suspect is urged to contact sheriff's office detectives by calling Crime Check at 456-2233.
