Cory C. NeVille, 61

A celebration of life ceremony will bea held at 11 a.m. on March 24 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, N34221 Newport Hwy, Chattaroy, for former Riverside teacher Cory C. NeVille, 61, who passed away on March 15, 2012, at his Usk home.
Born on July 25, 1950, in Powell, Wy., to DeForest “J” NeVille and Audrey Andrews, he attended Powell High School and earned a track scholarship to Brigham Young University. He married Carna Patch and started his family and teaching career in Provo, Utah, before moving to Spokane.
During his time at Riverside, he taught various subjects. He also served for a time as varsity track coach and yearbook advisor.
Mr. NeVille served in many capacities during his lifetime, both in his church and community, which gave him great joy.
Later in life he married Linda Campbell, who shared his love of travel, adventure and teaching.
A brother, Kevin, and his father, Dick NeVille, both predeceased him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda NeVille of Usk; six children, Martonne NeVille of Seattle; Marcy (Dusty) Gallinger of Deer Park, Ryan (Darby) NeVille of Bountiful, Utah, Haley (James) Murray of Bountiful, Utah, Cody NeVille of Seattle, and Katie (Joe) Arbizo of Gilbert, Ariz.; a stepson, Jared Campbell of Ione; a brother, Dan NeVille of Kaysville, Utah; a sister, Laura NeVille of Provo; and eight grandchildren.
