Charles L. Scott, 71

A memorial service will be at noon on Saturday, July 20, at the Deer Park Zion Lutheran Church, E218 Crawford, followed by a potluck, for Charles L. Scott, 71.
Mr. Scott was born in Fort Lewis, Wash., to Clyde and Charlotte Scott on June 29, 1941. He passed away on May 5, 2013.
He attended Rogers High School and after graduation joined the Navy. Upon returning from his service in the Navy, He obtained a position with the Western Fruit Express Railroad where he worked for 27 ½ years.
He is survived by his wife, Faye, the love of his life, of 37 years; children, Julie of Deer Lake, Elmer (Krissa) of North Dakota, Richard of Spokane, Jay (Evelyn) of Texas, Tyanna of Spokane Nadara (Keith) of Reno, Nev., and Stauna (Wayne) of Spokane; his favorite Auntie Myrna Tokarz; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his faithful companions, Russell, Dilly, and Birdo.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Charlotte; his sister, Charlene; and his brother, Carrol.
