Charger trio capture baseball honors

Springdale’s Kendall Peone, Rodney Abrahamson and Connor Parker, who helped guide the Chargers to a regional berth were named to the All-Northeast 2B League baseball team in voting by conference coaches.
Peone was named to the first team along with league most valuable player J.J. Robinson, Brandon Heiser, Tyler McNannay and Alex Teade, all of Colfax; Ross Collins and Jacob Schmach, both of Liberty; Erik Muelheims of St. George’s; Daniel Holland of Northwest Christian; Traven Smith of Lind-Ritzville-Sprague and Ron Wilke of Davenport.
Joining Parker and Abrahamson on the second team were Dylan Hartz of Lind-Ritzville-Sprague; Austin Anderson, Conner McKern and Brandon Thomas, all of Kettle Falls; Hunter Bradeen of Northwest Christian; and Dylan Salsbury of Liberty.
