Carol M. Betz, 78

Funeral Services were held on Nov. 8 at Cheney Church of the Nazarene for former area resident Carol M. (Baker) Betz, 78, who passed away on Nov. 4 in Spokane.
She was born on May 23, 1933, to David and Ella Baker in Clayton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Betz.
She is survived by two sons, David Betz of Cheney and Dale (Gwynette) Betz of Gig Harbor, Wash.; one daughter, Diane (Dan) Stanley of Papillion, Neb.; two brothers, Wendell (Kathleen) Baker of Oregon and Vernon (Alexa) Baker of Tennessee; two sisters, Catherine (Clifford) Truman of Florida and Sharon (Ray) Holt of Oregon; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Interment was held at Spokane Memorial Gardens with Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, Spokane, in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
