Betty J. Kiser, 86

Betty June Kiser was born on March 19, 1928, in Lewiston, Mont. And entered into rest on May 26, 2014.
She was the daughter of Ivan Merle and Edna May (Klingler) Gordy. She was the oldest of five children, including Donna, Eugene, Sandy and Michael.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Lowell Adelbert Kiser.
They are survived by their children, Cynthia (Darwin) Berry, Bruce (Ann) Kiser, Debbie (Terry) Steinacker, Nancy (Bob) McKechnie, Anita (Art) Rickey and David (Ellen) Kiser; 27 grandchildren (13 with spouses); 27 great-grandchildren; and a multitude of extended family.
Betty resided at Sunrise Assisted Living in Sandy, Utah, for the lat 2 and one-half years. We greatly appreciate the wonderful care she received while there.
Betty was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She loved being the matriarch of her large family. She loved having the occasion to visit with her extended family and friends as well.
Betty loved music. She was a wonderful pianist and loved to sing. She loved camping and nature. Betty was a skilled seamstress as well as crocheting and quilting.
She was a much-loved woman and will be greatly missed.
There will be a public visitation for family and friends at the Riverside Church Building on Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Funeral services honoring Mrs. Kiser will follow at 11 a.m. in the Riverside Chapel at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chattaroy, with Bishop Jim Palmer Jr. presiding.
Entombment will follow in the Temple Court Mausoleum at Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane.
Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, will be in charge of arrangements.
