Audrey (Oiland) Forkner, 78, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2014, at her home in Spokane.
Born to Ole and Gertrude Oiland in Spokane, she will be missed by friends and family including James M. Forkner, her husband of 61 years; a sister, Doris Mize of Spokane; a brother-in-law, Wil Lenke of Colbert; a brother-in-law, Bob (Connie) Forkner of Spokane; her children, Joe (Michele) Forkner of Issaquah, Wash., Don (Cindy) Forkner of Deer Park, MaryLue Forkner of Mead, Kathy (Ray) Leaver of Brewster, Wash., and Roger (Janet) Forkner of Spokane; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Remembering Mom: Mountain Dew, cinnamon rolls, “Days of Our Lives,” Christmas mornings, naps, Hot Wheels, gas money, Skin-so-Soft, “The Sound of Music, “Teddy Bears, homemade slip n slide, 1,000-piece puzzles, adventurous trip to California, Sunday dinners, Wheel of Fortune on the computer and unwavering love and support.
A memorial service will be held on June 14, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, N15515 Gleneden St, Spokane.
