Arthur H. “Art” Kohlstedt died on 8 Sept. 2011, at the age of 83.53.
He was born on 26 Feb. 1928, to Marguerite “Marge” and Harold “Koley” Kohlstedt, longtime residents of Colville.

He is survived by his dear brother, James E. Kohlstedt, and his family of Colville; his friend and ex-wife, Myrtle Kohlstedt of Hunters; three children and their spouses, Rick (Robbin) Kohlstedt of Spokane, Ray (Katie) Kohlstedt of Deer Park and Pam (Bob) Kohlstedt-Ardis of Duluth, Minn.; many loving grandchildren; and his best friend — his dog, Blue.
A casual, drop-in gathering for friends and family will be on Wednesday, 21 Sept. 2011, from 4-7 p.m. at the Tum Tum Community Center. Stories and food to share are welcome.
The Neptune Society of Spokane is in charge of cremation arrangements.
