Area churches plan holiday services

Area churches will celebrate the holidays with various Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services.
The Deer Park Open Door Congregational Church at N205 Main St. will hold Christmas Eve services at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. along with its traditional 9:30 a.m. Sunday service.
St. Mary’s Presentation Catholic Church at E602 Sixth St. will hold Christmas masses at 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 9 a.m. on Christmas Day.
A Christmas Eve service is planned for 7 p.m. at Christ’s Church of Deer Park, W5804 Herman Road. The church will hold a special Christmas celebration at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 276-5551.
Faith Lutheran Church at S.214 Weber Road will hold a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. and a Christmas Day worship service at 10 a.m.
A 6 p.m. Christmas Eve service will be held at Deer Park’s Grace Evangelical Free Church at S.502 Colville Ave. along with a 10:30 a.m. worship service on Christmas Day.
The Tri-County Christian Center at E320 “H” St. in Deer Park will hold its Sunday school session at 9 a.m. on Christmas Eve followed by its regular church service at 10:15 a.m. There will be no services on Christmas Day.
Zion Lutheran Church at E222 Crawford will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. along with a Christmas Day service at 10 a.m.
The Peaceful Valley Church on Allen Road in Elk will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. A Christmas Day service will be held at 10 a.m.
