Area churches plan Easter services

Area churches plan a variety of Easter services this weekend.
• Faith Lutheran Church at S.214 Weber Road will hold an Easter breakfast from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Sunday along with an Easter egg hunt at 9:15 a.m. A worship service will be held at 10 a.m.
• Zion Lutheran Church at E220 Crawford will hold a 7 a.m. Easter sunrise service will be added to the normal 10 a.m. Sunday service schedule.
• The Open Door Congregational Church at N205 Main St. will hold an Easter Sunday sunrise service is planned at 6:30 a.m. followed by a breakfast at 8 a.m. and a worship service at 9:30 a.m.
• The Vine Community, which meets at Deer Park Elementary School, will serve Easter Sunday breakfast at 8:45 a.m. followed by a celebration service at 10 a.m.
• The Tri-County Christian Center at E320 “H” St. will hold an Easter Sunday service at 10:15 a.m.
• The First Baptist Church at E1205 Crawford Ave. will hold Easter Sunday services at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
• St. Mary’s Presentation Catholic Church at E602 Sixth St. will hold an 8 p.m. Easter vigil service on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Easter Sunday masses.
• The Chattaroy Community Church at E3711 Chattaroy Road will hold an Easter Sunday service with new minister Rob Sheild at 10 a.m.
