Anna Kynett, 100

Anna Barbara Cecrle Kynett, 100, a longtime resident of Deer Park, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 1913.
She is the dear mother and mother-in-law of Dick and Kat Kynett of Mead and Janelle and Carl Justice of Deer Park. Anna has seven grandchildren and more than 30 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kynett met her future husband, G. Vern Kynett, when they were in grade school. They were married in 1936. Mr. Kynett passed away in 1992.
Born on July 9, 1912 at Milligan (Fillmore County) Neb., a daughter of Frank Cecrle Sr. and Anna Slepicka Cecrle, she was raised in Moccasin (Judith Basin County), Mont., where she attended grade school and graduated from Moccasin High School in 1930.
Upon graduation, Anna attended nursing school at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lewiston, Mont., and became a registered nurse. While in Deer Park she was a registered nurse at Deer Park Hospital.
Mrs. Kynett’s memberships included the United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 87, both in Deer Park, and Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Eiram Court No. 62 in Spokane.
Services honoring Mrs. Kynett will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the Deer Park United Methodist Church, E113 Second Ave. with Pastor Sue Robinson officiating.
A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the church’s social hall.
Lauer Funeral Home, Deer Park, will be in charge of arrangements.
