A funeral mass will be 11 a.m. on July 16 at St. Maryâ€™s Presentation Catholic Church, E602 Sixth St., Deer Park, for local resident Robert L. Creech, 75, who passed away on May 7, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The mass will be followed by burial at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Deer Park and a memorial ceremony and luncheon at the Deer Park Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 3067 post home, E29 First St.
Born on Jan. 25, 1938, in Tulsa, Okla., Mr. Creech served in the Navy for two years and was a retired carpenter with the Clark County Housing Authority in Las Vegas and was a licensed cosmetologist.
A celebration of life will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on July 13 at Mix Park for Ellen L. Hilderbrand, 53, who passed away on June 10.
She is survived by her mother, Georgia Wise; her husband, Bud; and three brothers, Butch (Janice), Joe and Pat (Debbie).
Ralph Homer Daugherty of Deer Park passed away on June 25, 2013, at the age of 85. Ralph succumbed to pneumonia, complicated by leukemia and chemo treatments that he had been battling with for the last four years.
Ralph was born into Lewis and Velma Daugherty's large family of 10 children on July 25, 1927, in Elk. He quit high school to join the Navy during World War II. After the war he returned to high school and earned his diploma.
John S. Holmes, age 66, passed away on June 23, 2013.
He was born on Jan. 21, 1947. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Engineering.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; three sisters; and two daughters.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date for longtime area resident Viola Bernice Taylor, 90, who passed away on June 9, 2013, at the Providence Long Term Care Center.
She and her, husband, Albert, farmed in the Loon Lake/Deer Lake area for many years. They also owned and operated second-hand stores in Oregon, Idaho and Arizona and motels in Idaho and Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; and one daughter, Leila L. Marshall.
Dorothy â€śDeeâ€ť (Bowers) Smith, a longtime resident of Deer Park, was called heavenward on Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Dee had four children: Rueben (Dale) Bowers, Bob Bowers, Carol McDaniel, and Linda Gilbert; 14 grandchildren, R.D. Bowers Jr. (deceased), Richard Bowers, Cyrena Lehman, Dawn James Robert Bowers, Amanda Bowers, Chad Bowers, Rachelle Bowers (deceased), Mike Gembala, Matt Gembala, Troy Bowers, Whitney Bowers-Steinauer; and 24 great-grandchildren.
David Lee Kendall, 70, passed away on Nov. 23, 2012. He was born on Sept. 11, 1942, in Spokane to Lee and Evelyn Kendall. After graduating from Deer Park High School in 1960, he attended Columbia Basin Junior College and Whitworth University. He received his Masterâ€™s Degree in Sports Medicine from Indiana University in Bloomington.
He was at the University of Pacific in Stockton, Calif., as instructor and head trainer for six year. He married Elaine C. â€śBeckyâ€ť Beck on June 10, 1967 in Stockton.
Alfred Paul â€śBudâ€ť Christoffersen passed away in his home on the morning of Oct. 13, 2012; his wife Patricia (Bakken) of 52 years was by his side.
Bud was born in Lake Preston, S.D., on Dec. 12, 1930, and resided there with his family until the passing of his parents, Alfred, a World War I veteran, and Pauline (Hansen) Christoffersen. Since Bud was only 15 years old when his parents died, he was sent to Montana to live and work for relatives and to complete high school.
Charles was born in Fort Lewis, Wash., to Clyde and Charlotte Scott on June 29, 1941. He passed away in his favorite chair at home.
Charles attended Rogers High School and after graduation joined the Navy. Upon returning from his service in the Navy, Charles obtained a position with the Western Fruit Express Railroad where he worked for 27 Â˝ years.
Elmer Roy Johnson, 79, a longtime resident of Milan/Chattaroy, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.
He is the dear father and father-in-law of Jomn and Theresa Johnson of Nine Mile Falls, Marci Johnson and Curtis Jacobsen of Hamilton, Mont., and Lorna Johnson and Doug Barnes of Curlew, Wash. His sisters are Karen (Richard) Doty of Spokane Valley and Elaine Van Horne of Newman Lake. He enjoyed 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
Royâ€™s dear wife, Janice Arlene Johnson, passed away in 2005.
